It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Jean White, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Barbara was born on June 4, 1949, in Quincy, Florida, and she peacefully passed away on March 22, 2026, in Tallahassee, Florida. Her life was one marked by kindness, devotion to her family, and a love for the simple joys of life.
Barbara’s days were often spent working in her yard and tending to her flowers, a reflection of her nurturing spirit and appreciation for beauty. She also found great joy in fishing and cherished spending time with her family and friends, activities through which she formed many treasured memories.
She is survived by her son, Frank Clifford Langston, Jr.; her sister, Carolyn King; her grandchild, Trammel Geiger; and her great-grandchildren, Avery, Blakely, and Caydence. These devoted family members were sources of joy and pride throughout her life.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jack Pierce, and her parents, Leon and Earlene White. Their memories live on in her heart and in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A graveside service to honor Barbara’s life will be held on March 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sanders Cemetery in Hosford with Reverend Buddy Elkins officiating.
