Bobby Singleton, of Hosford, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2026, in Blountstown. Bobby was born on March 15, 1940, in Tallahassee, Florida and was a dedicated individual whose career as a security professional at Georgia Pacific spanned many years until his retirement.
Bobby found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished the outdoors, delighting in fishing excursions and spending quality time surrounded by family and friends. His loyal companion, a dog named Goldie, was a constant source of happiness and companionship for him.
He is remembered by his sons, Charles Singleton and Richard Singleton with his wife Dianne, and his daughter, Melissa Ann Walters and her husband Michael. Bobby also leaves behind a legacy of love through his grandchildren, Brittany, Avery, Roxy, and Taylor, as well as his great-grandchildren, Nadia, Levi, Beckett, and Carson, who all brought immeasurable joy to his life.
Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jessie Juanita Singleton, and his parents, Wayman and Easter Singleton. He is also survived by the memories of his late brother, Waymon Singleton, and sisters, Mary Etta Trimble and Dorothy Ann Savage.
A service to celebrate Bobby’s life will take place at 12:00 PM, Friday, February 27, 2026, at Sanders Cemetery in Hosford with Reverend Kyle Peddie officiating.
