Deanna "DeDe" Waldron

Deanna “DeDe” Carol Waldron, of Blountstown, born January 4, 1966, in Bartow, Florida, passed away on October 11, 2026, in Marianna, Florida.

DeDe will be remembered for the joy she found in life’s simple and lasting pleasures. She loved music, the river, and above all, spending quality time with her family and friends. She also had a spirited way about her and liked critiquing food, a trait that surely brought both laughter and lively conversation to those who knew her best. Her presence was one that gathered people close, and the memories made in her company will remain treasured.

She is survived by her daughters, Jaylin, Jade, and Jessi McClendon; her sisters, Sue Bailey and her husband Clyde and Janis Weiler and her husband Jack; her grandchildren, Madison McDougald and her husband Luke, Mason Burg, Nevaeh Hood, Presley Hood, Charles Hood, Aaron Copeland, and Ryleigh Dunham; and her great-grandchild, Olivia Leighann McDougald. In the circle of her family, DeDe’s love and companionship will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Thelma Waldron, her step father, William "Buddy" Kyle; her brothers, Clyde Waldron, Jerry Waldron, and James Clay Waldron; her sister, Melinda Waldron; and her great-granddaughter, Scarlet Rose McDougald.

A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Dustin Malphurs officiating.
