Delores Jane Mamoran, aged 90, of Wewahitchka, Florida, peacefully passed away on December 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 27, 1935, in Charleston, West Virginia, Delores lived a vibrant life filled with creativity and kindness. Known for her artistic spirit, she found joy in making things and expressing herself through various crafts.
Throughout her life, Delores enjoyed cooking and gardening, pursuits that brought her immense satisfaction and allowed her to share her love with those around her. Most cherished were the moments she spent with her grandchildren, where her nurturing nature shined brightly.
Delores is survived by her sons, Ricky Mamoran and his wife Vina, Larry Mamoran and his wife Sandra, and Jimmy Mamoran, Jr. and his wife Patricia. Her daughters, Margaret Brock and husband Danny, Anita Mamoran, Tammy Walden, and Teri Johnson. She also leaves behind her brothers, Robert Wright and Paul Wright, alongside her large loving family, which includes 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her devoted husband, Jess Mamoran, Jr., her parents James and Edith Wright, her brothers Roy and Malcolm Wright, and her sisters Phyllis Jean Hall, Sue Ballard, Ruth McCormick, and Louise Smith.
Delores will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her. A funeral service to honor her life will be held on January 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown with Reverend George Malone officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery near Blountstown.
