Donnie Ray Mclendon

Donnie Ray McLendon, 58 of Altha, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, in Marianna. Donnie was born in Marianna, July 18, 1964, to James and Faye McLendon and was a foreman for Mowrey Elevator Company. Donnie was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and worked for Mowrey Elevator since 1984. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Cast and Blast Hunting Club.

Survivors include his wife, Maria McLendon of Altha; his sons, Nick McLendon and his wife Kyndal of Clarksville and Brent McLendon and his wife Angel of Clarksville, Tennessee; his parents, James and Faye McLendon; a brother, Paul Ross of Clarksville; a sister, Brenda McLendon of Blountstown; his grandchildren, Gunner, Marleigh, Brantley, Lily and Chandler McLendon and his father and mother-in-law, A.J. and Jackie Wise of Blountstown. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Services to honor Donnie’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Darrell Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery near Blountstown. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to services beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel.
