Gladys Lee Winters, of Blountstown, passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 98. She was born on January 3, 1927, in Baxley, Georgia, and later moved to Blountstown, Florida.
Gladys lived a life filled with joy and passion. She had a love for Gospel Music and she often expressed this through her vibrant personality and infectious spirit. She had an adventurous soul, reveling in the joys of traveling and dancing, which brought her immense happiness throughout her life.
She leaves behind a caring family who cherished her deeply. Her nieces, Barbara Gibson and her husband Barry, Wilma Hensley, and Shirley Hale, as well as many great nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.
Gladys is preceded in death by her two husbands, Joe Kinville and Jim Winters, and her daughter, Marie Briscoe. She was also predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mamie Jump, alongside her sisters Lydia Stonaker, Mary Parker, and Christine Ayers.
Gladys' will continue to resonate in the hearts and lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for the warmth and kindness she shared with everyone around her.
