Grady Roberson

Grady Roberson, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 7, 2026, in Marianna, Florida. He was born on January 11, 1941, in Eatonton, Georgia and served with honor in the United States Army. He made his journey to the area working on sewing machines and eventually operated a shirt factory for many years and later began a new chapter in his life as a telecommunications contractor until his retirement. 

Grady will be remembered with love by the family who meant so much to him throughout his life. He is survived by his son, Grady Randall Roberson; his daughters, Lynn Wimberly (Rick) and Melanie Mager (Chuck); He is also survived by his sisters, Juldene Anderson and Ruby Gibbs.

His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Brandy Coburn (Shane); Jordan Barnes (Brian); Jessie Wimblery (Kristi); Jade Ferrante (Anthony); Hunder Barnes (Ashley); and Colby Silverthorne as well as 7 great grandchildren. The love of a close and caring family surrounded Grady’s life, and his memory will remain cherished by each of them.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Roberson. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Junior, Bobby, Paul, and Roy, and by his sisters, Gussie Mae Mann, Anita Browning, Marti Roberson, and Mary Roberson.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home, 18034 Main Street North in Blountstown. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Pine Memorial Cemetery near Blountstown with Shawn Roberson officiating

Grady’s life is honored in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and his memory will be held close by his family for years to come.
