Julia Ann Shuler, of Bristol, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on February 23, 1946, in Blountstown, Florida.
Julia and her husband retired after operating their longtime family business "Nero's T.V.", located in Blountstown.
Julia enjoyed shopping, travel, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Julia is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Nero Shuler, as well as their three daughters: Stacey Roddenberry and her husband Steve; Lisa Sellers and her husband Dale; and Kim Davis. Julia's legacy continues through her six cherished grandchildren: Sage Hofheinz; Haven Davis; Shari Roddenberry; Shann Pforte and husband Dylan; Stormi Sellers; and River Sellers. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Raina Sellers; Farren Pforte; and Hollyn Pforte. Julia also leaves behind many other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Armstrong, her mother Willie Armstrong, and three sisters: Bonnie Abbott and her husband Bill; Odean Armstrong; and Josephine Johnson.
Julia's unwavering love and commitment to her family and friends will not be forgotten. She had a unique sense of humor that could lift spirits when it was needed most. She will be profoundly missed but lovingly remembered for the warmth she brought into the world.
Services to honor Julia's life will be held at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown. Visitation will take place on June 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM CST to 11:00 AM CST, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM CST with pastor Author Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Mystic Cemetery in Bristol.
