Kevin Randall Dunaway of Bristol passed away at his home on November 15, 2025. He was born on August 25, 1975, in Donaldsonville, Georgia. Kevin worked for many years as a nurse manager at the Apalachee Center in Tallahassee, where he took genuine pride in helping people and being there when they needed steady support.
He enjoyed a lot of hands-on and creative hobbies. Fishing was one of his favorite ways to unwind, and he could spend hours on the water. He loved music, especially classic rock and old country, and there was almost always something playing around him. Kevin also enjoyed woodworking and hunting for antiques. Photography was another passion, and he especially loved taking pictures with his family. More than anything, he loved spending time with Karen, Logan, and Emily. Whether they were relaxing together or having video game nights, those moments meant the world to him.
Kevin leaves behind his wife, Karen, his son, Logan, and his daughter, Emily. He is also survived by his sister, Melissa Gordon and her husband James, his brother, Tim Dunaway, his step-sisters, Tausha Wood and Tanya Green, and his step-mother, Twanna Dunaway. His family and friends will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ted Dunaway, and his mother, Sandra Tyus.
A Celebration of Life Reception will be held on November 23, 2025, at Rivertown Community Church in Blountstown, starting at 4 PM Central Standard Time. Friends and family are invited to come together and share stories in honor of a man who made a real difference to the people around him.
