Lorelei Strickland, born July 15, 1985, in Gloversville, New York, passed away in Wewahitchka, Florida. She was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother who embraced life with warmth, dedication, and a deep appreciation for simple joys.
Throughout her life, Lorelei found solace and pleasure in everyday activities such as walking and reading, pursuits that reflected her thoughtful and contemplative nature. She harbored a particular fondness for Dunkin' Coffee, which accompanied many of her quiet mornings, and she was an avid listener of podcasts, always eager to expand her knowledge and stay connected with the world around her. Above all, Lorelei treasured the time spent with her beloved grandchildren, often expressing that these moments were the greatest sources of happiness in her life.
Lorelei is survived by her two sons, Jarrott Strickland III and wife Kadence, and Jeremiah Strickland and wife Baylee. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Kohen and Caroline, who were the light of her life. In addition to her immediate family, Lorelei is mourned by her brothers, Shannon Johnston, Shawn Johnston, and James Seaman, and her sister, Melinda "Lynn" Patterson and her husband Anthony, as well as her step mother Valerie Seaman. Her passing also marks the loss of her parents, Donald and Kathy Seaman, and her brother, Joshua Seaman, who predeceased her.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown with Chandler Hatfield officiating.
Lorelei's life was marked by genuine affection for her family, a passion for learning, and an enduring commitment to the people she held dear. Her memory will remain a steadfast presence in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
