Mary "Erma" Messer

Mary "Erma" Messer, born on February 14, 1933, left this physical world to join her late husband Rudy Messer in heaven on March 9, 2026. He was waiting for her in his WWII Willy’s Jeep with no doors (as on their first date). She served Jesus, her Lord and Savior, her whole life. Anyone that knew Mary, in her frail little body, knew that she had the inner strength (and sometimes stubbornness) of ten mules. She leaves behind one son, David, whom she loved with all her heart. Recently she “adopted” a daughter, Lanna, who she perhaps loved even more than David (smile). In her passing days, her caregivers, church family and pastors, neighbors, and distant family also pitched in to help comfort her. She does not leave behind a legacy of fame and fortune, rather a life of endless love and servitude - her fortunes were waiting in the heavens above. Dad and his dog Wilbur are now listening to her play piano as a choir of angels sing. Welcome home, Mary.
