Nellie Jeter

Nellie Ada Jeter of Grand Ridge passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Marianna at the age of 95. She was a homemaker and was a member of Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Jeter; her parents, Walter Robert and Ada Lou (Bradley) Middleton; and a brother, Emmett Middleton. She is survived by her son, Lyvoyd Jeter and his wife, Dorothy of Grand Ridge; two daughters, Sarah Lamb and her husband, Bobby of Arkansas and N. Ruth Smith and her husband, Jack of Tennessee; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 3 at Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Cook officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Phone 674-5449.
