Nero Martin Shuler, of Bristol, a cherished member of both Calhoun and Liberty County and a devoted family man, passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 85 in Blountstown. Born on October 11, 1940, in Bristol, he dedicated 60 years of his life to his electronics store, Nero's TV and Satellite Service, serving his customers with integrity and passion.

Nero led a life filled with not only hard work but also a myriad of interests and hobbies. He loved to travel, often seeking out new adventures and experiences. His love for gardening and spending time outdoors reflected his appreciation for nature’s beauty. Nero also cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be fondly remembered by his family. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching westerns, a pastime that was one of his favorites.

He was a dedicated and active member of the Blountstown Assembly of God, where he fostered friendships and connections that enriched his life and the lives of those around him.

Nero is survived by his daughters, Stacey Roddenberry and her husband Steve, Kim Davis, and Lisa Sellers and her husband Dale. He also leaves behind his beloved sisters, Shelly Shuler, Rose Barton and her husband James and sister-in-law Carolyn Shuler. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Sage Hofheinz, Haven Davis, Shari Roddenberry, Shann Pforte and her husband Dylan, Stormi Hathaway and her husband Drew, and River Sellers and his wife Ciara. Additionally, Nero adored his great-grandchildren, Raina Sellers, Farren Pforte, and Hollyn Pforte, who brought him immense joy.

Nero is predeceased by his beloved wife, Julia Shuler, his parents, Woodrow Wilson Shuler and Mary Corine Shuler, and his brother, Milton "Buddy" Shuler Sr.

His life will be celebrated during a funeral service on February 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kent Jacobs officiating and a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will follow in Lake Mystic Cemetery. The family invites all who knew and loved Nero to join them in honoring a wonderful man who touched the lives of many.
