Rex Bernard Whitfield

Rex Bernard Whitfield, 56 of Bristol, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 near Altha. Rex was born in Gainesville, Florida, July 25th, 1964 to Ralph and Olivia (Johnson) Whitfield. He lived in Bristol most of his life and was a construction safety manager. Rex is survived by his wife of 30 years, Meiko Huggins Whitfield; his daughter Hana Williams (Toby) of Tallahassee; his father and mother, Ralph and Olivia Whitfield of Bristol; a brother, Bradley Whitfield (Michelle) of Bristol; a sister, Rachel Bryant (Al) of Bristol; a grandson, Skyler Williams; his father and mother-in-law, Horace and Yoshi Huggins of Blountstown; his nephew and nieces, Breyden, Sara, and Mady Bryant, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm eastern time Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown and one hour prior to services on Friday at Corinth Baptist Church in Hosford. Services to celebrate Rex’s life will be held 3:00 pm eastern time Friday, April 2, 2021 at Corinth Baptist Church with Pastor Kyle Peddie officiating. Interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery.
