Michaele Ann "Shelli" Critchley, 62, of Panama City Beach, Florida, passed away on February 27, 2024. She was born on May 15, 1961, in Oregon, Ohio. Michaele, known to many as Shelli, was a loving and compassionate woman who never met a stranger. She was described as the most giving woman alive by those who knew her best.
Throughout her career, Michaele found joy in the service industry and dedicated over 40 years to serving others with passion. She found solace and community at St. Paul's Episcopalian Church, where she worshipped.
In her free time, Michaele cherished moments spent with her family and found joy in playing bingo. She valued these moments spent with loved ones immensely.
Michaele is survived by her sons Joshua (Jaclyn) Cowan and Patrick Cowan, her daughter Sommer (Jeffery) Simpson, her grandchildren Evolet, Gwendolyn, Alyvia, Grayson, Rosie, Ryleigh, Nolan, and Braxtyn, her sisters Jackie and Paula, and her brother Matthew, and finally her chosen sons Jeffery Hartman and Michael Young. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Patricia and Clifford Reihing, and her husband Ricky Critchley.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 16th at Macomber Lodge, Pearson Park, Oregon, Ohio. Following the service, close friends and family are invited to gather at Patrick's to honor and remember the beautiful life of Michaele Ann Critchley.
