Susie Carolyn Young

Susie Carolyn Young, born on August 30, 1943, in Altha, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, in Blountstown, Florida. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and friend who touched the lives of those around her with her warmth and kindness.

Carolyn's professional journey began as assistant Vice President at Carrabelle Bank in Carrabelle from 1972 to 1974 where her dedication and hard work laid a strong foundation for her career and later was a customer service representative for Florida Power. Most recently she worked as a representative for the United States Census Bureau.

Throughout her life, Carolyn cherished her family deeply. She is survived by her son, Terence Davidson, who brought her immense joy and pride. She also leaves behind her brothers, Frank Maloy and Shannon Sansom, and her sisters, Joan Padgett, Annette Cerny, and Cathy Bailey. Together, they shared countless memories and supported one another through life's challenges.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, George and Susie Maloy, and her cherished daughter, Pamela Sue Davidson. Their memories remain an integral part of her legacy.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Carolyn's life. Visitation will be held on August 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, both at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, located at 18034 Main Street North in Blountstown, Florida.
