Vivian Deason Goodman, age 93, of Blountstown, Florida passed away on February 19, 2026. She was born on March 15, 1932 in Bristol, Florida to Judge Herbert and Linsey Deason.
She loved the beach and peaceful days spent fishing, feeding her ducks, and tending to her goat-goat and kittens. Known for her adventurous spirit, she also enjoyed keeping the roads hot. Nothing, however, compared to the joy she felt when surrounded by her precious grandbabies.
Throughout her life, Vivian dedicated herself to serving others through her work as a waitress at the Apalachee Restaurant, as a Secretary at the Liberty County Judges Office, and in various roles within the Calhoun County School System.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Judge Herbert and Linsey Deason, Husband, Edwin Earl Goodman Sr., Children, Edwin Earl Goodman Jr. and Vivian Ann Dunn, Sisters, Lillian Dasher, Faye Jerkins and Dorothy Deason.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Tina Rae Goodman. Her brother-in-law, Doug Goodman and wife Myra. Five Granddaughters, Laurie Goodman Hammack and husband Tim, Winter Goodman Collins and husband Michael, Nikki Dunn Creel, Vivian Lanae Dunn, and Margaret Ranae Dunn. Eleven Great Grandchildren, Nine Great-Great Grandchildren and many other loving nieces and nephews.
A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
