Obituary of Ruth E Todd

Ruth Todd, 81 of Monticello passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in Tallahassee. Ruth was born in Faceville, Georgia August 14, 1942, to the late Lonnie and Mary Emanuel and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband Ellis Todd; her son, George Todd, her brothers, John and Henry Emanuel; her sisters, Mary Ethel Emanuel and Olie Mae Emanuel and a niece Barbara Bruner. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Driggers and her husband Grant and Donna Chastain; her sister, Annie Lou Edwards; her stepchildren, Kathy Whidden and her husband Skeeter and Joe and Donna Todd; six grandchildren, five step grandchildren, four great grandchildren, eleven step great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Also she leaves several nieces and nephews and had a special closeness to Betty Martin, Nancy and Preston Strickland, Mary Johnson, Helen and Jerry Bottoms, Ellen and James Owens and Gene Edwards. Services to honor Ruth’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2024, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with a time of visitation beginning one hour prior to the services.
